Understanding the differences between Flight Assist On & Off [contains one ANNOTATION correction]. So, what's the point? Fundamentally, with no assist computer holding things back one can turn and pivot against your trajectory much more easily than with the assist computer on, plus.. piloting with fa off is an absolute hoot and extremely rewarding once you become competent with flying within the Newtonian physic mechanics. So firstly, descriptions of Elite's flight mechanics and tips on our approach and control mappings to help make piloting with FA OFF more likely to 'click'. Then.. an upcoming sequel (Part 2), a "when to toggle flight assist" guide, is due shortly with more advanced manoeuvres explained, but what we learn initially in this guide, will help towards knowing the better suited occasions/scenarios for when to toggle between the two modes.

As usual guys, I'd appreciate any feedback on where you think I can improve still. Forgive the rather obvious statements in this, to cater for the complete novice and the experienced player is impossible, so decided to literally start 'from the start', so apologies if any of this comes across as pedantic or patronising.
Also there is one audio excerpt that I had to replace because of a corrupt audio file, you'll guess which part because the narration's sound is slightly different compared with the rest (presumably my mic wasn't positioned exactly where it normally is).
