(Part 7 concerning shields requires Annotations On for correction, plus... when referring to lower rated thruster packs' boost, the advantage is only in a reduced top speed - NOT a reduced ENG capacitor's power draw as well). Final part in the series bringing all what we've learnt together using flight assist off 'with' combat tactics to be a threat against the hardest of hostiles, and also covering the best approach towards effective power distribution (despite the howling error concerning shields) because it is of course directly related to everything you do.

Pt 7 correction explained if you don't like using an annotation:
I have subsequently found out an error concerning shield re-charge, as much as the test in this chapter is accurate to find out the maximum power draw once your shields have failed completely, and even when charging each shield ring when NOT under attack, but... when your shields ARE under attack, adding more 'pips' to systems (the more the better) and even with an already full capacitor, gives your shield a boost and makes your shields stronger as long as they are active, so.. a quick divert of 'pips' to SYStems WHEN under attack will be an effective tactic, like I say, even if the capacitor is already full. 'Pips' to systems (all capacitors ENG and WEP also) have two functions, power distribution if it's needed AND boosting shield strength. As with the ENGines' capacitor (adjusting blue zone sweet spot and your top speed), and with the WEaPons' capacitor (weapons' heat dissipation/cooling)

So please ignore my statements about shields' strength, have added an annotation correction, my worst nightmare is to be misleading for being a muppet. Was an additional subject I thought I'd include, this won't effect the flight mechanics described, all the more reason to get proficient at the sequential boosting tactic in the previous chapter so as not to get hit at all!
