So Close [Valentine's Day Special]
First of all, Happy Valentines Day! May you all find your Edward Cullens - yes, there is a sexy 109-year-old vampire out there for everyone! :P
edit or a not-quite-so-sexy 14-year-old werewolf, if you prefer.
Anyways, this is just a really simple and practically effect-less (putting aside the colourings and fancy stuff on top - the footage itself is un-messed with) tribute to my favourite cannon couples of the entire series. From FF7, I've only included Aeris/Zack because the rest of the couples I love (Cloud/Tifa, Vincent/Yuffie etc.) aren't romantic enough. Yeah, they may have cute conversations and meaningful looks, but I couldn't be bothered going into all that kind of stuff. Same with FF12 - its just not cute or romantic enough, so I didn't include any. I'm a sucker for love stories. Anyways, on to what I did include; Rinoa/Squall (gotta love Squinoa - FF8 was my first Final Fantasy, so I have a soft spot for this pairing), Yuna/Tidus (though I only used footage of them in FFX), Lenne/Shuyin (sooooooo cute) and Aeris/Zack (I love them so much!). It actually turned out quite sad in the end, seeing as only one of these 4 pairings has a happy ending (as I said, no X-2 of Yuna/Tidus included, coz I wanted to end it on them at the end of FFX). Anyways, hope you like!
Ooh, wait, another thing I should mention - the Shuyin bits where he's with Yuna are supposed to be about him thinking it's Lenne, they're not supposed to show him with Lenne, if that makes sense. Hints are in the lyrics: 'Almost believing this was not pretend'. The manips aren't great, couldn't be bothered spending very long on them, coz its not supposed to be Shuyin and Lenne, its supposed to be Shuyin thinking he's found Lenne but he actually hasn't. That scene is actually really sad. When I saw it in the game, I didn't like Shuyin very much coz he wasn't Tidus and he was a bit weird, but its actually really sad that he thinks he's found his love but he actually hasn't. Anyways, whatever.
