Ok, I'll be honest, I really don't like the way this one came out as a whole. After the first minute or so I got lazy, and couldn't really be bothered, so I apologize for the awful masking during the bridge. But anyways, I hope it's enough to get me through (this is for the Dilly Dally Studios Auditions, which is why I started it, and why I didn't give up on it). But yeah. It's really not my style (though I enjoyed doing the drum beats). I did it for Dilly Dally Studios, and the theme was leaving/breaking up, and I didn't have enough time to come up with something better than this. There's a lot of pointless fillers (last chorus especially) but oh well. I'll stop babbling now...
Story:
Basically, Tidus left - pretend it's his fault that he went all ghosty-melt-through-not-real-y. Yuna tried to stop him, but he wouldn't listen. And when she said 'I love you', he just walked off without another word. Yuna feels betrayed by this, and is really hurt, but now, one year on (new clothes = present) she's happy, and she's getting over him. She goes back to the places where they spent time together - the field of flowers (farplane) and the spring, and finally begins to get closure. She runs around with the gullwings, and soon her newer, fonder memories of times with Rikku and Paine take the place of those with Tidus. She even takes up singing.
[Bridge] After her first concert, however, she's talking with Rikku and Paine on the dock in Luca when she hears a voice behind her, calling her name - it's Tidus (yes he's magically back). He walks up to her, and pulls her into an awkward hug. Yuna doesn't hug back. She pushes him away, and says: 'I'm better off without you'. Tidus is shocked, and she smiles at him, turns around, and high fives Rikku and Paine. The three of them jump onto the air ship and fly away into the sunset. Sort of. ;)
