First roast day back after my holiday = a hard day!
OK, so it's the end of roast production day on Tuesday the 20th of August 2024 and the first roast production day back after my holiday. It was pretty warm in the roastery today, which is why I loooked like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards!
On today's agenda was 25 batches of coffee to roast. Tuesday is our Wholesale Partner roasting day. However, I also had to pull forward a few coffees that I was planning to roast on Wednesday to fulfil internet orders that we were short on coffee for.
Jule's is on holiday in Menorca this week which meant that I was straight into packaging after I finished on the roaster. So, headphones on and a spot of labelling and bagging. I shouldn't complain too much as Jules pre-labelled a bunch of bags during the week I was on holiday.
