This homily offers a variety of models that speak of the journey of ‘our return to God.” Among them (1) The two stages of Mary’s ‘Magnificat’. (2) Christ’s teaching that in order to enter the kingdom of God, we have to become like little children. (3) The six stages model of the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas. (4) My own 23-stages model of ‘sacraments’ that begins with God’s self-fracturing into holographic fractals and ending with the reabsorption of all souls into Source.
