There are two main ways to create a table in Excel:
*1. Convert existing data to a table:*
*Select any cell* within the data range you want to convert to a table.
Go to the *Insert* tab and click **Table**. You can also use the shortcut **Ctrl + T**.
Excel will automatically select the data for you. You can adjust the range if needed.
Make sure the box *My table has headers* is checked if the first row contains your column titles.
Click **OK**.
*2. Create a blank table:*
Select the number of rows and columns you want in your table by clicking and dragging with your mouse.
Go to the *Home* tab and click the *Format as Table* button in the Styles group.
Choose a table style from the gallery or select *No Style* if you prefer a simpler look.
In the *Create Table* dialog box, confirm or adjust the cell range and select *My table has headers* if applicable.
Click **OK**.
