Day: =TEXT(A1,"DDDD") (This returns the abbreviated Day name like Sunday Or Monday whatever day fall on that particular date)
Month (numeric): =MONTH(A1)
Month (name): =TEXT(A1,"MMMM") (This returns the abbreviated month name like "Mar" for March)
Year: =YEAR(A1,"YYYY") (This returns the year in number)
