Start Your Smart Engine
As kids, we all dream of being something adventurous when we grow up. We want to live wildly as pirates, float endlessly as astronauts, or rule palaces as kings and queens. But, at some point or another, the world tells us we can’t do what we want. It tells us we have to fit into a mold. A mold whispering that our quest for a life of great adventure is ridiculous.
Well, we know a girl named Hannah who stomped on the gas pedal and hit that mold going 150 miles per hour. Needless to say, the mold didn’t survive. See, Hannah never wanted to be anything other than a race car driver. She wanted to suit up, strap in and burn rubber on tracks all over the world. But, when the world told her to grow up and do something real with her life, she gave up on racing.
Just messing with you!
She never stopped pursuing her passion for racing. All through high school she sacrificed a lot for the love of the track. The payoff? How about going to Boise State University as the first NCAA sponsored driver. The first. Ever. No joke.
There’s a ton to take away from Hannah. Chase down your dreams. Listen to your gut. Learn while doing what you love. Just don’t be afraid to ask for what you want (you never know what might come of it). Molds are only meant for those scared enough to climb in.
