Sound, just like light, is made of waves.

The frequency of waves affects how you perceive them.

Just as white light is a combo of all the colors, 🤍white noise contains waves across all frequencies we can hear, helping to muffle other noises. An example of white noise is a whirling fan.

🩷Pink noise, like rainfall, and 🤎brown noise, like thunder limit higher frequencies and have been shown to enhance memory consolidation and slow-wave deep sleep. Using these sounds can enhance relaxation during meditation practice or everyday activities.

Develop a meditation practice you’ll actually do and learn how to guide others through meditation inside my Meditation for the Real World Teacher Training currently open for enrollment. Limited spots available! Go to https://www.annswansonwellness.com/me... to sign up!
