INTRODUCTION: There is no specific introduction anyone needs to give about Mechanical engineering. People say, mechanical engineers are the real heroes in the field of engineering. Are you looking forward to pursuing your career in Mechanical engineering? Read till the end to explore the opportunities in this field.
WHAT IS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING?
In a single line, everything that is involved in the manufacture of anything comes under Mechanical engineering. In this, there is work related to the design and production of mechanical systems and products. From bicycles to Ferrari cars to Humanoid robots, mechanical engineering is everywhere. Needless to say, it is one of the broadest engineering fields. Basically, it includes the designing of power producing machines. Mechanical engineers also design highly technological machines like elevators and escalators.
To become a mechanical engineer you need at least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering like B.Tech. It includes courses in math’s, life science and physical science, engineering and design. In the study of mechanical engineering, there is more practical work for the students than theory work. You must also have some knowledge of physics and calculus.
B.E./B.Tech – 4 years
Generally, the bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is of (Big mistake: it is 4 years), .
