CAREER IN NANOTECHNOLOGY
INTRODUCTION
It is to be acknowledged that progress in electronics is incensed by miniaturization. The classical behavior which we descry just vanishes as we approach the levels equivalent to that of molecular one. Not just electronics needs this miniaturization, in fact, this could play an integral role in many other areas all the way from Mechanics to Medicine.
The Greek word ‘Nanos’ signifies 'small/dwarf' and the word nano is derived from it. It is one billionth of a meter. Nanotechnology manages materials of the size in the order of 10-9 to 10-7 m.
It is the study of these nanoparticles and its operations by controlling them based on their physical and chemical properties.
Hence, to excel in this field one must have gravitas knowledge about the chemistry, physics and related fields of sciences.
The material as we know behaves differently once we go to the nanoscale, hence it is one of the promising fields of sciences. There are many applications of nanotechnology; however, there are very few people who opt for this cause of the hard work it requires.
