Happy New Year! No one can definitively tell you who mixed the first Martini. But it probably happened sometime during the mid-1800s. As to the "right way" to make a Martini, well that’s been a lasting debate that has been going on for a very, very long time. BUT!...how far is too far when it comes to reimagining the Martini? Today we are flipping through a Martini book that i received as a Christmas Present. There's 1001 Martini recipes. Really 1001 different Martinis? Hmmmm not so sure about that but let's flip through and see what interesting recipes we ca find.
