Emergency Alert System - Tornado Warning for my county - 11/17/13
Recreated the alert from the last Tornado Warning that was issued for my county, Muskegon, in 2013. Gave me an excuse to recreate the old blue EAS screen, where an unknown character generator/encoder was used. The audio from the siren was from the Imlay City Fire Department. I unintentionally recorded it while filming a train parking in the siding by the old GTW depot.
The font used was Monospaced 821. I know that it is not an exact match, but it is the closest. The scrolling was hacked together since this font does not have small caps. This is actually two scroll bars combined to make it look like one with the small caps letters being more compressed than the capital letters.
I thought about using the Geneva Blue font, but I did not like the inconsistencies in the font.
