CrimeStat IV: Introduction & How to Download
CrimeStatIV is a free spatial stats program that does not get enough attention/use in my opinion. I used it throughout graduate school and occasionally while at UA but have not in a few years. Now that Twitter reminded my of CrimeStat, figured I could make a series on some of the tools within CrimeStat. I have not used every tool/function in CrimeStat so it will take some time. CrimeStat has a steeper learning curve than other programs given the underlying knowledge needed with spatial data. That is not to say, avoid CrimeStat. I will walk through how to import data and set of the fields. This will include going between ArcGIS Pro and CrimeStatIV.
