FLL City Shaper Single Motor Challenge Part 4: Safety Factor with an RCX
This is my first-ever attachment using Lego string! Or at least I think it's Lego string. String was the only practical way to link up to the trigger release (the trigger is an axle that is forced back when it impacts the base of the Safety Factor mission model). Once triggered, rubber bands simultaneously push the building (and two beams) north and two other beams south.
This is the most technically sophisticated of my accessory devices this year. It took over a month to build, mostly because it took over a month to think through the various aspects of how the device needed to operate.
