16. FreeBSD 14.1-RELEASE: Mount USB Drives with GUI – Easy Tutorial
Sometimes, I will insert my usb thumbdrive or external hard disk to backup my data.
But in FreeBSD, as a default desktop environment, there is no software to mount using GUI. You easily can mount using command. Most users not comfortable using command. They tends to use GUI.
So, there is DSBMC - Graphical Client for DSBMD.
DSBMC is a Qt5 client which allows accessing the functions the mounting daemon DSBMD provides, like mounting/unmounting media and disk images, and setting the reading speed of CD/DVD drives.
