Script Parameters ( https://imagej.net/scripting/parameters) will help you make your scripts more universal when declaring inputs/outputs. There are some templates available via Fiji (https://imagej.net/scripting/templates) that will help you get starting using Script Parameters (e.g. Templates , Intro , Widgets (Beanshell)).
**Note: The names ‘ImageJ’ and ‘Fiji’ are used interchangeably… we recommend new users download/install/use the Fiji distribution (https://imagej.net/software/fiji/index) of ImageJ, as Fiji Is Just ImageJ!
