Globe artichokes seed to harvest five months
Sown late winter in my greenhouse, in a CD15 module tray. Imperial Star from Kings Seeds.
I potted them to 7cm pots of homemade potting mix, to have plants ready by mid-April.
Growth was initially slow.
Then from the middle of June they grew really well. In no dig soil with a 3cm / one inch approx. mulch of homemade and green waste compost.
