Step 1: First of all, get the Windows 2000 ISO file for free. Please follow the link below or find the file by searching online.

Step 2: After Oracle software opens, start the Win2K VM setup. To do this, click the New symbol in the menu or shortcut area.

Step 3: Type "Windows2000" in the Name & OS. You can also change the Machine Folder if you want to save the virtual machine to a different area.

Step 4: In the Memory Size window, set the RAM for the Windows 2000 guest machine. Also, make sure the RAM size works with your PC. I suggest at least 1 GB of RAM for the best performance.

Step 5: In the Hard Disk window, create a new virtual disk for the Windows 2000 virtual machine. By default, the "Create virtual hard disk" option is selected. Click Next to continue. Also, if you have an existing guest machine, you can add the existing virtual HDD.

Step 6: Pick VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image) in the Hard Disk File Type window. VHD is the virtual disk file used by Microsoft. VMDK is for other software like VMware Workstation. Since VDI is the best choice for Oracle VM VirtualBox, it's best to select it.

Step 7: You can change the virtual hard disk location from the File Location and Size. If you want to store the virtual disk in another area, click the folder icon. Then, select the folder you created on your computer. Finally, set the Win2K virtual disk capacity to 4GB.

Step 8: Create the Windows 2000 virtual machine. Next, click "Settings." This lets you add the Windows ISO installation media to the guest machine. This is also a good time to set up other VM hardware settings.

Step 9: Open the General/Advanced settings in your virtualization software. Find the Shared Clipboard and Drag and Drop options. Change both to "Bidirectional." This will let you share files easily between the Windows 2000 VM and the host. You can also copy and paste text, pictures, and files both ways. Finally, save your settings to make sure it works.

Step 10: Open the System/Motherboard settings. Here, change the settings. Set the optical drive as the 1. boot device & disable your floppy.

Step 11: If you want to use many vCPUs for the Win2K PC, first look at the Motherboard. Tick the I/O APIC, and then, in the System/Processor, set the vCPU value to 1.

Step 12: To improve the 3D power of the Windows 2000 VM, open the Display settings. Check the Acceleration box and set your GPU to 128MB for better performance.

Step 13: First, enable the I/O Cache feature of the IDE controller in the Storage settings. Then, set the WindowsVista.vdi virtual disk file to SSD (Solid-State Drive). Finally, click Empty. Click the DVD icon to attach the Windows ISO file to the VM. With this step, you have attached the image file.

Step 14: After installing the Windows 2000 virtual computer, find the Start button on your screen. Then, click it to start the installation process. This will start the installation. It will also guide you through the steps. As a result, you will get a seamless experience.
