Regina Doba Saleem, from the Jamil family, was born in Telkaif in 1932. She was residing in Telskuf and her mother wanted them to move to Telkaif, once they moved they remained there. At the age of 14 she had married her husband and moved to Baghdad, where she had her children and lost her husband. In 1976 her and her children moved to America and started their lives in Southfield, Michigan.
