Some machines claim to do 35SF/minute but that’s only helpful if the concrete slab cooperates. This slab, being a little softer, needed a precise approach to clean it and flatten it. Aggressive cutting is nice but not if it ruts, gouges or creates birdbaths where there were none.
Two passes using a 16 grit, full face, segment and no weight was the best way to clean this floor AND make it more flat before the next coating is applied. The result will be a nicer, coated, floor that looks smooth and doesn’t reflect the light as waves.
