High performance coatings are expensive and fickle. In the case of a re-coat or whenever the re-coat window has been exceeded (usually 24 hours), thorough preparation is required for the next coating to stick. Be sure to abrade the surface entirely and remove all the dust (vacuum and solvent wipe).
People wonder why a proper installation takes so much time and costs what it does. If a floor is going to last for years before it wears through, it has to bond completely.
