Year 2417. The Earth disappeared nearly 400 years ago, and Valerian and Laureline may very well be the only two earthlings in the galaxy. The power-thirsty Vlagos are gaining ground with their evil schemes, but the resistance movement is growing. From their lunar base, the Freedom Rebels intercept a confidential conversation between Pyrna and the Vlagos Supreme Commander in which they communicate the coordinates of a certain Planet X34. But the mysterious planet doesn’t appear on any map of the galaxy. To their surprise, they discover Planet X34 is nothing more than an enormous factory that manufactures weapons and android soldiers. The signs are all there: the Vlagos and Pyrna are getting ready for war!
