First time skiing & Wellness at Hintertux Glacier (Beginner ski lesson Hintertuxer Gletscher)
This video shows our very first steps on skis during a Wellness weekend at Hintertux Glacier in late November 2016.
We both were snowboarding when we were younger, but never stood on skis before, so this was a real FIRST TIMER!
Thankfully we had two great teachers and fresh snow, but also up to 95 km/h wind on the glacier. After the first try on a blue slope we already managed to go down a red one. Although this lead to quite some falls and crashes, we were soooo happy and are hungry for more!
Hintertux ist the perfect weekend getaway for ealry in the season, as it has snow year round as a glacier and the Zillertal is easy to reach from Munich. We had an additionally wonderful stay at Hotel Klausnerhof, from whose whirlpool you have a direct view on the glacier!
