Cuba Roundtrip 2017 - Havana, Pico Turquino, Vinales, Cayo Levisa, Cayo Santa Maria
Traveling to Cuba was on our minds for a looooong time and in early 2017, we finally took the plane from Munich to Havana.
After a few days in the capital city Havanna, we made our way with a rental car to Cayo Levisa and further to Vinales and Las Terrazas/Soroa for some horse riding and hiking.
From there we continued flying (which isn't that easy in Cuba, as you can see..) to Santiago de Cuba to climb the highest mountain in the country from Santo Domingo, the Pico Turquino in the Sierra Maestra mountains.
After another looong travel action (not by plane this time...), we spent a few more days relaxing on the beach on Cayo Santa Maria before heading back home.
All together, Cuba was a fantastic, very special and "different" travel experience for us - thanks for all the love!
