As of recent iOS versions, your iPhone can show real time info on the Lock Screen. Here’s how to enable and disable this Live Activities feature.
The so called Live Activities option is a polarizing one. It can be useful in some cases, like the time an Uber has until it arrives, but it can also be a real battery hog.
So it’s clear that some users will love this option, while others will try to deactivate it as soon as they will see their battery level going down fast.
No clear instructions come with using Live Activities, but with a little bit of digging you will find that their related options can be found on every app’s configuration section inside iPhone’s Settings.
So, to make it even clearer - you need to go to Settings - App - Live Activities to enable or disable Live Activities per individual app.
Sometimes, there can be found some additional options. In FotMob’s case, you can use or not a More Frequent Updates mode, that show events faster, but also consume more energy.
So, what about you? Do you plan on using Live Activities on your iPhone or not?
