This Unity tutorial shows how to stop a rigidbody on collision and make it stick to a wall using collision and tag comparison.
This video can work as a stand-alone as well for understanding how to create a stuck mechanic in Unity. On the collision, the tag collided game object compares with the tag of the target game object to be stuck on. If tags match, the game object's rigidbody set to be kinematic, disabling gravity effects on the game object.
