A Creative Day in Berlin!
Hey guys,
Thank you for all the support in recent weeks - it's been so great to see the channel moving a little bit!
Today's video I am back to my Berlin vlogs.
I'm so busy that each time I start one, I wonder why I am making my life even more complicated, but then it's a real joy once its edited and having something to share.
I'd never do it every day because the life experience is altered by vlogging - and I want most of all to be "in life" and not separated from it.
That said, a vlog is also an art form in itself, as I am discovering. In this one, I take you behind the scenes during the day that I had Amistat on my podcast.
It's a typical day in that I never have a day that replicated itself.
That's what comes from the crazy juggle of pursuing my own musical dream, my client work in film and photography, the podcast and most recently public speaking and consultancy work.
Despite knowing I should try to "niche down" - it never works for me!
As such I give myself over the the chaos of life.
This Berlin vlog was filmed on my Sony ZV-E1 with the 11mm 1.8 lens - a great mobile set up.

About Amistat
Born in Germany and raised in Italy, twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil have Czech and Australian roots. The duo, known as Amistat, moved to Australia to further their music career and later returned to Europe in 2019.
Amistat's sound, reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel, draws influences from Ben Howard, Kings of Convenience, and Kodaline. Their music thrives in live settings, offering emotional connection, healing, and inspiration through their distinctive vocal harmonies and deeply authentic lyrics, reflecting their life experiences and travels.
Since 2012, Amistat has released four EPs—‘It’s Not Words’, ‘Somewhere Sometime’, ‘Nostalgia’, ‘Love and Light’—and their debut album ‘Parley’. They have toured extensively in Australia and Europe, playing at major festivals and winning the Emerging Artist of the Year 2018 Award at the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Following a comprehensive tour with Australian band "Sons of the East", Amistat embarked on their own headline tours across Europe, the UK, and Australia. Their 2023 European tour was a massive success, selling over 10,000 tickets. They are set to continue touring Europe in early 2024, with debuts in the UK, Belgium, and Spain.
