Kinesiology study of paraplegic rats
The paraplegia was induced by neonatal spinal cord transection at the mid-level of thoracic segment (T7). After 2-week survival, the animals were allowed to perform on the treadmill in order to assess if Robotic gait device increases the possibility of swinging initiation of the hind limbs during treadmill walking.
