3D modeling of "quantitative" dentate granule cells with spine counts
A 3-D "quantitative" dentate granule cell of the mouse hippocampus. Using Neurolucida software, the subtypes of the dendritic spines were counted and quantitated. These include mushroom-head, stubby, thin, bifurcated and fliopodia.
