Looking at Islam in Türkiye

If we look at the life of Muslims in Türkiye, in general the condition is good, but there are still many of them who cannot carry out their worship diligently and with full obedience. Is this the influence of the teachings of secularism implemented by Mustafa Kamal Attatruk (First President of Türkiye) with his ideology of secularism? Wallahu A`lam.
Islam is the most widely practiced religion in Türkiye. Most Turkish Sunni Muslims adhere to the Hanafi school of thought. The presence of Islam in what is now modern Türkiye began in the latter half of the 11th century, when the Seljuks began expanding their territory into eastern Anatolia.
While records put the number of Muslims at 99.8%, this may be an overestimate; most surveys estimate a lower figure of around 94%. The most popular school of thought (madzhab) is the Hanafi school of Sunni Islam (approximately 90% of all Islamic denominations). The remaining Muslim sects, making up about 9% of the Muslim population consist of Alevis, Ja'faris (representing 1% and Alawites (with an estimated population of around 500,000 to 1 million, or about 1%.
