I decided to chop up a piano sample that I didn't think would work, but somehow it did! I pitched it down just slightly but overall it turned out to be a really good sample.
That's the thing about sampling piano - you can do a lot with it, especially if it's an old Jazz piano sample. Sampling newer, clean piano, or piano from a VST doesn't sound the same at all. That's why I always check for older songs because it always sounds better.
