Mpox: Osun Records New Case
Osun State has recorded a new confirmed case of MPOX in Ilesa West local government area of the State.
Confirming the case, the state Commissioner for Health, Jola Akinola said the Government has activated the Incident Management System to curtail the spread of the virus.
The new confirmed case of MPOX on a 25-year-old male will be the second case from Ilesa West Local government this year as a case was also recorded there in March.
The Commissioner who urged residents of the state not to panic promised to ensure contact tracing and engage in public enlightenment on the preventive measures against the new variant of the Mpox
