रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, ये दुनिया की सबसे महंगी आम की किस्म है. इसे ‘ताइयो-नो-टोमागो’ या ‘एग्स ऑफ सनशाइन’ के नाम से बेचा जाता है. आमों के अन्य किस्में हरे और पीले रंग में होती है, लेकिन इसका रंग गहरा लाल है. इसका आकार डायनासोर के अंडे की तरह दिखता है.

ये आम जापान में उगाया जाता है. मियाजाकी आम का नाम जापान के एक शहर ‘मियाजाकी’ के नाम पर रखा गया है. जहां इस फल को मुख्य रूप से उगाया जाता है. इस एक आम का वजन लगभग 350 ग्राम होता है. इसमें एंटीऑक्सीडेंट, बीटा-कैरोटीन और फोलिक एसिड जैसे गुण होते हैं. इसमें शुगर 15 प्रतिशत या अधिक होती है. विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, इस किस्म की खेती के लिए तेज धूप और अधिक वर्षा की आवश्यकता होती है. ये फल अप्रैल और अगस्त के महीनों के बीच होता है. ये जापान में बिकने वाले सबसे महंगे फलों में से एक है. रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार इस किस्म की शुरुआती कीमत रु 8,600/- रुपये है. ये आम अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मार्केट में दो लाख 70 हजार रुपये किलो तक बिका है. अन्य देशों में निर्यात किए जाने से पहले, इन आमों की सख्त जांच और परीक्षण किया जाता है.
चर्चा में क्यों
ये किस्म जापान, थाईलैंड, फिलीपींस और भारत में उगाई जाती है. हाल ही में आई एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, मध्य प्रदेश के जबलपुर में एक बागवान दंपति ने दावा किया कि उन्होंने आम की इस किस्म को उगाया है. इन अनोखे आमों की चोरी होने से बचाने के लिए उन्हें चार गार्ड और सात कुत्ते लगाने पड़े.
अन्य सबसे महंगे आम कौन से हैं
दुनिया भर में उपलब्ध आम की अन्य महंगी किस्मों में कोहितूर शामिल है. ये भारत के सबसे महंगे आमों में से एक है. इसे पश्चिम बंगाल के मुर्शिदाबाद में उगाया जाता है. ये 1500 रुपये प्रति पीस तक बिकता है. रिपोर्ट्स की मानें तो इस किस्म को पहली बार 18वीं सदी में उगाया गया था.
