Some students demand that the university should pursue offline examinations or conduct the examination through open book process. Student union leaders have been sitting on hunger strike since Tuesday. In this regard, the student leaders, Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Jain also wanted to talk to her but did not get any clear answer from her.
Student leaders say that a few days ago some colleges had conducted practical examinations. Some students got infected in it. Due to which there was also an infection in the family. In such a situation the university should have paid attention.
Let us know that about 1.20 lakh students are to be tested. There will be a fear of students getting infected. Devi Ahilya University administration had sought guidance from the Higher Education Department in this regard, although no response has been received from the department so far.

तमाम अटकलों और संभावनाओ के बीच अप्रैल से शुरू होने वाली बीए, बीएससी, बीकाम और अन्य प्रोफेशनल कोर्स की परीक्षाओं के प्रवेश पत्र यूनिवर्सिटी ने जारी करना शुरू कर दिए हैं। कुछ कोर्सेस के प्रवेश पत्र बुधवार को जारी कर दिए गए हैं और कुछ के गुरुवार को जारी होंगे।
कोरोना संक्रमण के कारण आफलाइन परीक्षा का विरोध कर रहे विद्यार्थियों और उनके पेरेंट्स की परेशानी एवं चिंता बढ़ गई है। कुछ विद्यार्थी कि मांग है विश्वविद्यालय को आफलाइन परीक्षाओं को आगे बढ़ाना चाहिए या ओपन बुक प्रक्रिया से परीक्षा कराई जानी चाहिए। इस मामले को लेकर मंगलवार से छात्र संघ नेता भूख हड़ताल पर बैठे हैं। इस संबंध में छात्र नेताओं ने कुलपति प्रो. रेणु जैन से भी बात करनी चाही लेकिन उनकी ओर से कोई स्पष्ट जवाब नहीं मिला।
छात्र नेताओं का कहना है कि कुछ दिन पहले ही कुछ कालेजों ने प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षा आयोजित करवाई थी। उसमें कुछ विद्यार्थी संक्रमित हो गए थे। जिनके कारण परिवार में भी संक्रमण हुआ | ऐसी परिस्थिति में विश्वविद्यालय को ध्यान देना चाहिए था |
बता दें की करीब 1.20 लाख विद्यार्थियों की परीक्षा होना है । विद्यार्थियों के संक्रमित होने का डर बना रहेगा। देवी अहिल्या विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने इस संबंध में उच्च शिक्षा विभाग से मार्गदर्शन मांगा था, हालांकि विभाग की ओर से अभी तक कोई जवाब प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है।
बुधवार को भोपाल में कोरोना संक्रमण के रोकथाम के लिए हुई बैठक में परीक्षाएं कराने का निर्णय लिया गया। शासन द्वारा जारी नई गाइडलाइन में कहा गया है कि समस्त प्रकार की परीक्षाएं जिनमें प्रतियोगी परीक्षा भी सम्मिलित है पूर्व निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के अनुसार आयोजित होंगी। परीक्षार्थी और परीक्षा के कार्य में संलग्न अधिकारियों और कर्मियों को आने-जाने में कोई अवरोध नहीं रहेगा।
