Pomegranate Seed Germination Timelapse

This video started with an idea of just trying to take a timeplapse of seed germinating. So at first, I tried with lime seeds, but it turned out that the growth of Lime plant is extremely slow and hence I had to wait for few days for the first sprout. As I was just doing a trial error kind of video, I had no specific set up for this timelapse shoot. As I had to keep a camera occupied 24x7 for shooting such timelapse, I decided to use my not in use old Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone and attached it to a small tripod. The another issue with using an old smartphone was that, it's camera had no option to shoot timelapse.
So I had to search thru Android play store for a suitable app that could shoot timelapse in an easy way. After trying many apps, most of which had some kind of issues, I finally bumped in to this app called FrameLapse. This is not a perfect app but still a lot better than most of the other timelapse applications available in the Play Store.
Now I had a crude setup of an old smartphone equipped with a not so bad Timelapse App - FrameLapse which was attached to a mediocre small tripod.
But as I said e growth of Lime plant is extremely slow so I could hardly get any kind of seed germination timelapse even after more than a week had passed. Then one day, as I was eating a pomegranate, I just put couple of pomegranate grains in to the glass pot just to see whether it will germinate and grow in to a plant.
To my amazement, in two days after the outher juicy covering had decayed, the internal white seed of pomegranate seed ruptured and I could sense that the seeds will germinate now. And luckily for me, the growth of Pomegranate plant is also a bit fast and thus I was able to get this seed germination video
