Stilt Legged Fly, belongs to Micropizediae family of Insects. They have slender body with long legs like that of stilt and hence commonly called Stilt Legged Fly.
There pp 500 species of Stilt legged fly world wide but only 8 are recorded in India. The species filmed here is the only one recorded in Maharashtra.
The species is photographed at Kankavali town, in Sindhudurga district of Maharasthra, India.
