What Tripod Should I Buy?
If you’re buying a new tripod, don’t do this.
Tripods like these are flimsy, imprecise and break quick.
They’re imprecise, so getting a perfectly level shot is more difficult than you think.
And then boom, they’re broken.
Option 2: Are the professional tripods.
I’ve had this particular Manfrotto tripod for 7 years. I’ve checked it on airplanes, taken it in the ocean, used it in sub 0 temperatures, and I still use it 4-5 times per week.
I would recommend a ball head over a fluid head. When I use a tripod, everything is locked off, and if you film vertical content, a ball head will make things much easier.
Other top-tier brands work great; the most important thing is the build quality.
So trust me, if you can afford to buy a little bit nicer tripod, you’ll save money in the long run and it won’t be a
