Using Excel VLOOKUP to Assign Latitude and Longitude
Received a dataset with firearm offenses from 2016 - 2019. The issue was that the 2016 offenses did not have latitude and longitude attached based on an older RMS. I was curious to see if I could use the newer offenses that had lat/long to fill the older offenses based on the address. Walk through a couple data cleaning steps (Replace, Sort, Filter, Remove Duplicates, Proper Text) then use the VLOOKUP to pull the lat/long into the 2016 offenses. At the end, wanted to see if the ArcGIS add-in would display the data - point level offenses.
