In this tutorial, Iris shows you how to do the trickiest and fiddliest part of a knitted sock: picking up stitches on either side of your heel flap for the gusset.

There are LOADS of other videos and techniques out there for sock gussets, many tips and tricks shared by other content creators! If you have a video tutorial you've especially found helpful, please let us know in the comments.

Tools you may want to have on hand to help with this stage of your sock: an extra double pointed needle, a small crochet hook, or a Flox tool (what Iris is using).
