CRICCIETH CASTLE DRONE SURVEY – PROJECT REVIEW
Another recent project has been drone photography as part of a visual survey of Criccieth Castle Walls for CADW in Wales. Spectacular coastal setting overlooking Tremadog Bay, the Lleyn Peninsula, and Snowdonia. Bult by Wesh Prince Llywelyn the Great around the start of the 13th Century, then taken over by Edward I, and finally mostly destroyed by Owain Glyndwr during the last major Welsh rebellion in the early 15th Century.
CamOp suddenly developed the flu during this shoot, but we managed to get it all in the can regardless – Phew!
