Example of 3D Photogrammetry of Rail Track
This follow on from our Cambrian Railways survey trials. Just a simple video showing an example of how we did some aerial drone-based photogrammetry trials as part of measured survey of section of rail track. It shows the triangulation processing to create the 3D dataset, point cloud, surface mesh, and various other outputs such as a vertical-view rectified orthomosaic, DSM, and various other topographic views. Considering the weather it all came out as hoped and nicely georeferenced.
