Railways Classic Indonesia
The emergence of railways in Indonesia was inextricably linked to the Dutch East Indies government. The construction of railway lines made it easier to transport Indonesian agricultural products for export to Europe. Traces of the railway's presence can still be felt when visiting the Willem I station in Ambarawa. Besides its strategic location, Ambarawa also served as a military and defense base for Central Java.
