Hello :)

This is the requested transcription I did of the Jon Anderson song "Surrender" from his 1982 album "Animation". There are 3 bass players listed on the album. I'm not sure which one played on this track: Stefano Cerri, John Giblin and Jack Bruce. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know as I'd love to know who it was and I'll update this info.

This transcription can be found at https://www.muzento.com under Advanced - Learning Songs subject.

This is a fun, summer feeling song with a nice message. What kind of rhythm or genre would this be? Ska or Reggae?

I've only known Jon Anderson from some of his work with YES. I've checked out a couple of his solo work songs because of this request, and it's definitely worth checking out some more...thanks Gil ;)

This was deceivingly difficult, and it kind of kicked my butt. There are some really tricky rhythms and slides. He came up with some really clever ways of just playing a C major triad. I hope learning this song will rub off on me and that I'll be that creative when the time comes :)

This bass line has tons of and rhythms and if you're looking to expand your 16th note vocabulary, this one is not too fast and fun to play.

Count and loop the problem spots. And as always...have fun :)

I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to like and subscribe and thanks for watching :)
