Crystal Mountain | Chinook Express
Chinook Express is a Doppelmayr high-speed six-pack, and was installed in 1998. It replaced a Poma quad known as Midway Shuttle, which was installed in 1988, and now lives on at Loup Loup Ski Bowl. The lift is the second, and currently the newest six-pack in Washington. It came in after Forest Queen Express was installed in 1997. Chinook Express likely won't be the last six-pack in Washington for long, as Snoqualmie plans on adding one or two in their newest masterplan. In terms of Chinook, it has no plans of replacement, and likely will stick around for awhile.
