In this lesson we replace the traditional Note-In with a clock and a couple different sequencer modules. The clock is important because it gives the sequencer a reference BPM and also determines when the sequencer starts and stops. The sequencer itself is just another type of modulator like an envelope or LFO. The Step-8 can produce complex arp patterns (a replacement to the Note-In) and the 4 Mods can be used to control virtually any parameter you want inside your modular synth. In this example we keep it simple and have the 4 Mod modulate the filter cutoff and resonance.
