Beautiful Bird Tragically Does Not Make It
Meet Terry the tucancillo (collared aracari). He came into our rescue center in Costa Rica with a painful abscess on his wing. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to help him, but sadly, he did not make it through the night. 😔
This is the harsh reality of wildlife conservation. Some days are incredibly sad, and it can feel overwhelming. But every effort we make is driven by our commitment to give these animals the best chance possible. We receive hundreds of injured animals each year, and we fight for the survival of every single one of them!
