Most people don't think of negotiating products or services when they think of everyday negotiations. However, many companies are willing to change pricing if you use the right tactics. In this video, we focus on how to negotiate everyday bills, contracts, and others.

In this video, we cover three key tips to negotiate everyday things:
The first is to have the mindset that everything is, in fact, negotiable. That is, most companies create the illusion that prices are fixed, that nothing can be done, and that they are inflexible. In fact, they are flexible - you just have to break through that illusion. Before using any technique, having the mindset that anything can be negotiated is important. Otherwise, you won't even try;
The second tip is to inflict more "pain" on them than they are inflicting on you. That is, many companies make you switch between departments in ticket systems or wait long times for calls in order to deter you and get you to give up. But when you make it very clear that you will not be giving up, regardless of the obstacles, they switch stances and they work with you to solve the problem right away. Reminding them that acquiring a new customer is more expensive than keeping a current one happy, or reminding them of the costs with their customer support team can be effective here;
Showing insider knowledge also helps. That is, all customer support systems have metrics, such as the average ticket resolution time, or metrics such as the NPS (Net Promoter Score) that indicate client satisfaction. By telling that you understand the impact of your unhappiness on their metrics and system, you convince them to more easily accept discounts/other perks you may demand;
