A fundamental part of the VXLAN physical design is what is often referred to as the Spine and Leaf architecture. In this video I will give you an overview of what this architecture looks like and how it pertains to VXLAN technology and deployments.
Virtual eXtensible LAN, or VXLAN is a network virtualization technology that is exceptionally useful for large datacenter and cloud computing deployments. VXLAN has been developed to overcome some of the limitations of scalability that are inherent to more traditional Layer 2 technologies.
